Beach holidays always boost my Vitamin SEA J and its simple rejuvenating. Last year I went to Rameswaram – which is also popular as one of the Chaardhams among pilgrims. Sri Rama shot one arrow from his bow which pierced the earth & fresh water sprang from it. Hence, the name, Villoondi which translates into “pierced by arrow”. Triyambakeshwar temple is located near this beach. Villoondi Theertham can give you some good time for sure. Aryaman Beach: It is nearly 27 kilometers from Rameswaram bus stand and the perfect place for water sports enthusiasts. This pristine beach has so many things to offer to the water sports enthusiasts. Popular activities are windsurfing, water scooter, and boating. Kunthukal Beach This beach is located in a small fishing village named Kunthukal, about 12 km from the Rameswaram main land. It is famous for its crystal clear blue sea water with moderate tides.
